The triangular altar’s long arm points true north, creating a sundial effect on the ground.
The eastern-facing boulder lies exactly between the altar and the sunrise on the winter solstice.
The boulders perfectly form a giant hexagon when viewed from above.
La Puerta de AïA
I designed a doorway to stand at the water’s edge when approaching the property from the shore to build anticipation before the resort’s official opening. It served as an Instagram-able backdrop for visitors walking along the beach from neighboring hotel properties.
